Trip Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi, Georgia
Upon arrival at Tbilisi Airport, a private car will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Afterwards, enjoy free time to relax or explore the city of Tbilisi.
Day 2: Tbilisi – Natipuru Hut
An early start to the day takes you towards Natipuru mountain. The journey is divided into 3 stages:
- Stage 1: Morning travel from Tbilisi to Kutaisi city for a lunch break.
- Stage 2: Continue to Mukhuri town.
- Stage 3: At Mukhuri, switch to a different vehicle for a 30 km drive on a rough road into the deep forest leading to Natipuru mountain.
- Stage 4: Hike to the Natipuru Hut and camp nearby for the night.
Day 3: Natipuru Hut – Okhoje Lake
Before noon, cross the slopes of the Egrisi mountains and ascend to Okhoje pass (2750 meters). Descend to Okhoje Lake, a beautiful alpine lake visible on clear days. Camp overnight by the lakeside.
Day 4: Okhoje Lake – Tobavarchkhili Lake
A relatively easy hiking day with stunning scenery. Reach the main destination, Tobavarchkhili Lake (2800 meters), within 2-3 hours, traversing small valleys along the way. Camp overnight beside Tobavarchkhili Lake, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in Georgia.
Day 5: Tobavarchkhili Lake
Leave your luggage and tents at the campsite and embark on a day hike exploring three smaller lakes: Kailashi, Didi Ghele, and Tshakatskali. Return to Tobavarchkhili Lake for another night of camping.
Day 6: Tobavarchkhili Lake – Jolora Valley
Head east from the lake towards Toba waterfall and continue to Jikiri Hut, a famous shepherd’s shelter in the Magana Valley. Enjoy a taste of “elarji,” a local specialty dish. Follow the Magana River to Jolora Valley and set up camp for the night.
Day 7: Jolora Valley – Skuri
Cross the Jolora River in the morning and continue your journey, eventually reaching Kirnakhona tourists shelter. Upon arrival in Skuri, take a car to the Black Sea resort town of Anaklia for an overnight stay. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 8: Skuri – Tbilisi
After breakfast, explore the lakeside surroundings. Before noon, travel back to Tbilisi and spend the night at a hotel.
Day 9: Rest Day
Relax and enjoy a leisurely day in Tbilisi after the adventurous journey.
Day 10: Tbilisi – BKK
Departure day from Georgia. Head to Tbilisi Airport 3 hours before your flight back to Bangkok.
