“Khao Cheda Yod: A Challenging Hike in Southern Thailand, located within the Khao Bantad Wildlife Sanctuary, spans across four provinces: Satun, Songkhla, Trang, and Phatthalung. The mountain offers hiking trails accessible from both the Satun and Phatthalung sides. Our journey will be a 2-day, 1-night trip. Expect to encounter some leeches and enjoy the presence of streams throughout the trail.

Travel Itinerary
Departure Day
- 8:00 PM: Depart from Big C Saphan Khwai and head towards Trang Province (approximately 12-13 hours travel time).
Day 1
- 8:00 AM: Stop for breakfast en route before reaching Namtok Nan Sato National Park.
- 10:00 AM: Arrive at Namtok Nan Sato National Park in Trang Province. Take a bath, organize belongings, and hand over items to porters for the jungle trek.
- 11:00 AM: Begin the trek to the campsite. Packed lunches and 2 bottles of drinking water will be distributed before the hike. The initial part of the trail involves crossing streams and navigating through the forest. Afterward, the ascent uphill begins. Upon reaching the campsite, collaboratively set up tents, store belongings, and rest.
- 7:00 PM: Enjoy dinner together (included in the package).
Day 2
- 5:00 AM: Witness the sunrise to welcome the new day, approximately 1 kilometer away from the campsite.
- 7:00 AM: Return to the campsite for breakfast and coffee.
- 9:30 AM: Pack belongings and prepare for the descent. It’s crucial to start the descent no later than 9:00-9:30 AM to ensure a timely arrival back in Bangkok.
- 2:00 PM: Arrive back at Namtok Nan Sato. Take a bath, gather belongings, and begin the journey back to Bangkok.
- 4:00 AM (following day): Arrive safely in Bangkok.
