Visit Tad Yuang & Zipline at Tad Fane, Laos 3 Days 2 Nights trip

This is an adventurous trekking trip in the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos. During the trip you will experience trekking through the forest, crossing rivers and streams, climbing via ropes, camping, and hiking to explore magnificent waterfalls such as Tad Khameud and Tad Suea.

In addition, the trip includes a visit to Tad Fane Waterfall, one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls in southern Laos, where participants can try the zipline activity. The journey also includes visiting Tad Yuang Waterfall, another hidden gem in southern Laos.

This trip combines adventure, nature exploration, and beautiful scenery. It offers trekking, camping, and waterfall exploration in one experience.

Travel Itinerary

Day 0 – Travel from Bangkok

08.00 PM. – Meet at Mixt Chatuchak (3rd floor, food court) in Bangkok.
Depart by van for Chong Mek border checkpoint, Ubon Ratchathani.

Day 1 – Tad Fane Zipline – Tad Yuang – Nong Luang Village

07:00 AM.– Arrive at Chong Mek border checkpoint.
Freshen up and prepare the luggage you will take into the forest.
Items not needed for trekking can be left in the van. Prepare your passport.

08:30 AM. – After crossing the border, travel by van to Tad Fane Waterfall for the zipline activity.
Breakfast can be purchased here (not included in the package).
Zipline fee: approximately 1,600 THB.

11:30 AM.– After finishing the zipline, travel by van to Tad Yuang Waterfall.

12:00 PM. – Arrive at Tad Yuang Waterfall.
Enjoy sightseeing around the waterfall for about 1 hour.

01:00 PM. – Continue by van to Nong Luang Village (about 1 hour).

02:30 PM. – Arrive at Nong Luang Homestay.
Check in, store your belongings, and relax.
Accommodation: shared homestay.

06:00 PM. – Dinner together.

Day 2 – Trekking to Bolaven Camp – Tad Suea & Tad Khameud

06:00 AM. – Breakfast at the homestay.
Prepare trekking equipment.
Some belongings can be left at the homestay.

Porters are available if needed.
Staff will provide packed lunch and drinking water for the trek.

08:00 AM. – Travel by pickup truck to the trekking starting point (about 10 minutes).

Start trekking to the Bolaven jungle campsite.

The trail includes:

• Walking through coffee plantations
• Crossing streams
• Rope climbing across water (optional if water level allows walking across)
• Trekking through dense forest

Distance: approximately 3–4 km.

01:00 PM. – Arrive at the campsite.
Help set up tents and rest. Then trek to visit the highlights of the trip:

Tad Suea Waterfall
Tad Khameud Waterfall

Distance from camp: approximately 3.5 km

• First 500 meters: relatively flat
• Remaining 3 km: steep downhill trail

Enjoy exploring and photographing the waterfalls.

07:00 PM. – Dinner at the campsite and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Return Trek & Travel Back

06.30 AM. Morning – Breakfast at the campsite.

08.00 AM. Pack up tents and belongings.

09.00 AM. Start trekking back to the village along the same route. After arriving back at Nong Luang Village, return to the vehicle and travel back toward the border checkpoint.

12.00 PM. Cross back into Thailand and return to Bangkok.
